This includes intersection and pedestrian traffic controllers, intelligent urban traffic control systems, variable message signs, public transport, and car park guidance systems to enhance road safety and improve traffic flow in congested urban and inter‑urban areas.

This will be a Level 3 apprenticeship, over a 3‑year period.

• Be willing to travel to multiple of our Yunex Traffic sites across the UK for training.

• Enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions.

• Possess good organisational and time management skills to assist in completing the academic qualifications and occupational skills developments within this apprenticeship.

• Have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrate effective listening and teamwork skills, to create a collaborative work environment and strengthen relationships.
• Be IT literate; able to use Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Raising Purchase Order Requests on the Yunex SAP System
• Raising Stock Demands against the factory on the Yunex SAP System
• Processing Delivery notes and receipting stock on the system
• Completing stock transfers and adjustments in a timely fashion
• Booking stock to Field Jobs as required
• Logging and processing new orders
• Updating the order status sheet when jobs are picked and shipped
• Booking transport requirements and liaising with Couriers and Transport Companies when needed
• Creating delivery notes for shipments and emailing to recipients
• Printing urgent Road Traffic Collision orders for picking
• Placing orders for Traffic Controllers on the Yunex SAP system
• Placing orders for all Logistics team requirements (PPE, Stationary, Office Supplies)
• Running regular stock replenishment routine
• Communicating priorities with warehouse picking team
• Keeping wider field teams updated with order progress
• Helping administer the Field Service Stock Audit process prior to year end

The location of this apprenticeship role will be Leicester, close to Junction 21 of the M6.
