Cleaner – Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services

Join the Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services team as a Cleaner. The role is permanent, full‑time, and based in Pladis, Canal Street, South Wigston, Leicester.

• Communicate effectively with Mitie and clients, demonstrating enthusiasm for a challenging and varied working environment.
• Be a team player, capable of learning, motivating others, and working collaboratively.
• Have fluency in English (100%) and the ability to work at height.
• Be open, honest, self‑driven and determined, reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
• Possess previous cleaning experience (desirable but not essential) and a flexible approach to the role.

The role reports directly to the Onsite Manager and involves cleaning various machines and areas across the factory. Responsibilities include safe use of cleaning chemicals, waste removal to appropriate areas, and performing one‑off cleaning tasks as needed. The role may require overtime during staff shortages, audits, or VIP visits, and requires the ability to work independently without supervision.
