W Talent is supporting a growing, project-driven organisation within site services and engineering. We're looking for a Operations Supervisor to take ownership of day-to-day project delivery, team coordination, and operational performance across multiple sites.
The Role:
As a Operations Supervisor, you'll oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of site-based projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and to specification. Supporting the Site Operations Manager, you'll act as a key link between technicians, clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery
* Oversee planning, execution, and completion of site services projects (Asphalts or Earthworks)
* Ensure delivery against deadlines, budgets, and client requirements
* Track progress and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders
* Allocate resources effectively to maximise productivity
Team Leadership
* Supervise, mentor, and support site technicians
* Manage schedules via the jobs board to balance workload and utilisation
* Ensure team alignment with company standards and project objectives
Operational Efficiency
* Identify and implement process improvements to improve delivery and efficiency
* Troubleshoot issues such as delays, resource gaps, or equipment failures
Quality & Compliance
* Work with quality teams to ensure testing meets industry and client standards
* Maintain high standards across all site activities
Health & Safety
* Enforce safety procedures across all sites
* Conduct inspections and proactively manage risk
Scheduling & Coordination
* Build and maintain detailed project schedules
* Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
Communication & Reporting
* Act as the main point of contact for project-related queries
* Maintain accurate records and produce progress, safety, and performance reports
Key Requirements:
Experience:
* Proven experience supervising site-based projects or operations (Asphalts or Earthworks)
* Background in engineering, services, or technical environments
* Strong understanding of scheduling, resource planning, and project delivery
Skills:
* Strong leadership and people management
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
* Problem-solving and decision-making ability
