Are you an experienced Managing QS / Commercial Manager looking to lead a high-performing team and shape the commercial success of a growing contractor? Our client, a progressive and forward-thinking main contractor based in Leicestershire, is experiencing an exciting period of growth and is looking to appoint a Commercial Manager to oversee a portfolio of cladding remediation and retrofit schemes across the Midlands.
WhatYou'll Be Doing:
- Leading and developing a team of Quantity Surveyors across multiple live projects
- Driving commercial strategy, cost management and contract compliance
- Overseeing procurement, forecasting, reporting and financial performance
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered profitably and safely
- Representing the business with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager within a main contracting environment
- Strong knowledge of cladding remediation, retrofit or building safety-related projects (desirable)
- Confident leadership skills and the ability to mentor and support QS teams
- Excellent commercial acumen and communication skills
