Shift Pattern; 7.30am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday, Fridays 7.30am-12.30pm

We now have opportunities for individuals to work with a leading UK casting manufacturer based in Leicester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the goods in and out, ensuring all paperwork is correct and maintaining inventory.
The Goods in/Out Operative Role;

* Picking/Packing

* Palletising/wrapping

* Dealing with administration for both goods in and out

* Unloading/loading

* Verify and maintain records using in-house systems

* Maintaining inventory on all incoming materials

* Responsible for the location, allocation and movement of materials/products to fulfil all internal and external customer orders and outgoing shipments

* Quality checking goods received and raising/recording any discrepancies

* Providing monthly reports on stock counts to Senior Management

* Carry out racking inspections

* Local deliveries utlising the company van

* General housekeeping and ensuring all equipment, tools and materials are secured safely
The Goods in/Out Operative Candidate;

* Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills

* Self-motivated and able to adapt to changing priorities

* Ability to work on own initiative as well as successfully within a team

* Good understanding of Health & Safety at Work regulations

* Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence essential

* A5 Pedestrian Forklift Licence diserable

* UK Driving Licence essential

* Knowledge of how to carry out racking Inspection desirable although full training can be provided

* Knowledgeable with MS Office packages.
