A busy injection‑moulding facility in Leicester is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their operation.

You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a range of injection‑moulding machines and associated equipment. From preventative maintenance to emergency breakdown response, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the production environment safe, reliable, and efficient.

• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and resolving issues quickly
• Conducting inspections to identify problems before they impact production
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests
• Liaising with external contractors for specialised repairs or installations
• Maintaining accurate maintenance and repair records
• Upholding safety standards across all tasks

• Minimum of three years’ maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, including experience with schematics and logic controllers
• Confidence in independent problem‑solving, with a collaborative, team‑focused approach
• Clear communication skills and a high level of attention to detail
• A driving licence is preferred but not essential
