About the Company

A long-established UK precision sheet-metal fabrication business based in Leicester. Specialise in cutting, forming and welding metal components working with solid engineering fundamentals.

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled TIG Welder who knows their craft and takes pride in producing high-quality work. This is a hands-on role in a busy fabrication environment where accuracy, consistency and doing the job properly matter. If you can read a drawing, prep correctly, and lay down clean welds without cutting corners, you'll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities
  • TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium components
  • Working from engineering drawings and weld specifications
  • Producing high-quality, visually clean and structurally sound welds
  • Preparing materials, joint set-up and finishing to required standards
  • Carrying out self-inspection to ensure work meets quality requirements
  • Working to production schedules while maintaining accuracy
  • Following health & safety procedures at all times
  • Keeping work areas clean, organised and professional
About You
  • Proven experience as a TIG Welder in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Experience working with thin-gauge and precision components
  • Knowledge of welding symbols and quality standards
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
