Leicester (LE4 area)

Hours:

* Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 15:30

* Overtime available as required
Salary: £15.00 - £16.50 per hour (depending on skills and experience)

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Metal Fabricator to join a busy and growing manufacturing team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fabricator to work on bespoke, high-quality metal products within a fast-paced and collaborative workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Fabricate bespoke metal products to precise specifications from aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel.

* Work from job sheets and engineering drawings to complete fabrications accurately and efficiently.

* Operate machinery such as pillar drills, band saws, guillotines, and folders.

* Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete assemblies and finishes.

* Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety and quality standards.

* Maintain attention to detail while working to tight deadlines in a busy workshop.

* Support team members and contribute to a positive working environment.

Experience &

Skills Required:

* Proven experience in metal fabrication (aluminium and mild steel).

* Competent in MIG and TIG welding across a range of thicknesses (3mm - 25mm).

* Strong understanding of fabrication techniques and workshop operations.

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.

* Knowledge of EN 1090-2 mild steel fabrication standards advantageous.

* Good mathematical skills and the ability to work in millimetres.

* Reliable, hardworking, and capable of using own initiative.

* Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and good sense of humour.
