Practice Nurse – Leicester

Locum – full time basis at a modern, purpose built practice in a central location. We are looking for an excellent communicator and a proficient EMIS Web user. You will be experienced and up to date in Cytology, Travel Vaccinations, Baby & Child Immunisations, Phlebotomy, Spirometry and Wounds & Dressings. Chronic disease management is desirable but not essential.

• Provide day‑to‑day nursing care to patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and treatment in line with clinical guidelines.
• Manage immunisation and travel vaccination schedules.
• Handle phlebotomy, spirometry, wound care and wound dressings.
• Maintain accurate electronic patient records using EMIS Web.

• NMC Registration
• RGN Qualifications
• Practice Nurse experience
• Medical Indemnity Insurance
• Up to date certificates for all training

Enthusiastic Practice Nurses required to join a busy team. Essential skills include ear syringing, travel immunisations, compression bandages and hours to be discussed.

Full‑time agency support needed on site only, Monday to Friday; minimum 37.5 hours per week. Practice Nurses with QOF experience are preferred.
