Territory Manager, GI - South West 1 at Ambu A/S
Ambu A/S is seeking an experienced sales professional to drive the growth of its single‑use gastrointestinal (GI) product range across the UK and Ireland. The Territory Manager will embed products within acute and non‑acute clinical settings, nurture relationships with NHS clinicians and procurement teams, and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
Duties & Responsibilities- Report to the UK & Ireland National Sales Manager for GI.
- Deliver territory sales targets and maintain consistent territory strategy and planning.
- Qualify opportunities, identify customer needs, and engage all relevant buying influencers and decision makers.
- Effectively demonstrate key features and benefits of Ambu’s GI product range to all clinical and non‑clinical stakeholders.
- Convey compelling health‑economic arguments to stakeholders beyond clinical areas (procurement, finance, etc.).
- Maintain close customer relationships and collaborate cross‑functionally with Ambu teams to grow existing accounts and onboard new customers.
- Keep the CRM system and other reporting mechanisms up to date to record customer activity and opportunity.
- Be effective at closing business and manage own pipeline in the CRM, reporting monthly and quarterly.
- Gather market intelligence and disseminate throughout the organization.
- Identify and develop relationships with local and national Key Opinion Leaders.
- Prepare and deliver effective presentations.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by the Manager.
- Experienced sales professional with a proven track record of selling to the NHS/HSE.
- Clinical experience within the NHS/HSE.
- Growth mindset and keen ability to pursue new business.
- A self‑starter, able to work independently and use initiative.
- Experience selling GI/Endoscopy, ICU and Theatre products.
- Personable, friendly, outgoing and ambitious.
- Ability to convey health‑economic, financial and clinical benefits to a broad spectrum of personnel.
- Commercial credibility, including price/value discussions.
- Engage with all levels of clinical and management staff.
- Effective planning and preparation for customer meetings with clear objectives.
- Research and identify critical/topical issues affecting key customers.
- Excellent negotiation and administration skills.
- Preferable to have completed an accredited Theatre Access Course.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Flexibility to attend meetings and conferences.
GCSE (or equivalent) Minimum Grade C – English, Maths and Science.
