• Conduct thorough assessments of prospective foster and kinship carers to ensure safe and supportive environments for children
• Provide ongoing supervision, guidance, and support to foster carers and kinship placements, promoting stability and wellbeing
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop cohesive support plans tailored to each child’s needs
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including case notes, reports, and care plans
• Deliver training and development programs to carers, supporting continuous learning and skills enhancement
• Actively contribute to team meetings, offering ideas and strategies to improve service delivery

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
• Experience in fostering, kinship, or child care social work
• Strong communication, assessment, and report writing skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
