Pay: £13.87 per hour.

Hours:

8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week) Breaks: 2 x 15 minutes & 1 x 30 minutes (unpaid)

Full time Monday–Friday

DC Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative for a long-established national distribution business based in the LE3 area of Leicester.

The employer operates within the commercial and industrial supply sector. They distribute mechanical and technical products including pipework, valves and fittings. The company is known for job stability, strong stock levels and long-term staff retention.

This role is primarily focused on order picking, with forklift operation available for suitably qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking items accurately and efficiently

• Working and using scanners & intergrated warehouse systems

• FLT licence (preferred) with Multi-directional forklift experience a huge advantage but training will be given

• General warehouse duties including loading and unloading

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment, following all health & safety procedures

Requirements of the role

• Warehouse or picking experience is essential

• Valid FLT licence preferred

• Multidirectional forklift experience advantageous

• Good attention to detail

• Reliable, punctual and team-focused
