Senior Principal Electronics Engineer

Act as a specialist in requirements management & traceability Translate safety & hazard analysis into robust technical requirements This is a role for someone who owns outcomes, raises standards, and drives alignment through technical authority. You are:

** Expert level communication skills, able to communicate at all levels of the organization (design team, customer, executive, etc.) and tailor communication for intended audience Experience driving functional change through technical leadership Expert domain knowledge of electronics design compliant with RTCA/DO-254 and ARP

Deep experience developing with the “V” model and requirements management

Extensive experience of detailed electronics design for aerospace applications

Proven experience across the full development life-cycle, from concept to certification

Experience managing globally distributed development teams

Experience with managing safety requirements, working with functional hazard assessments and decomposing them to design

** Experience with modular electronics and design re-use strategies

Experience with RTCA/DO178

Experience with Hardware-in-Loop and Software-in-the-loop (HIL/SIL) test setups

Experience with Airbus’ ABD

Experience with microcontrollers based embedded electronics

Experience with FPGA design using VHDL Proficiency with requirements management tools (DOORS / Polarion etc.)
