Quality Assurance Lead - Sizewell, Suffolk

Are you ready to take the next step in your Quality Assurance career within the construction and civil engineering sectors? This is an exceptional opportunity to join a main contractor, leading, influence, and improve QA processes as part of a driven and forward-thinking team a Quality Assurance Lead, you'll play a central role in delivering high-quality projects on time and to the highest standards.
You'll work closely with operational, engineering, and design teams to ensure that all project activities meet strict quality expectations. This role offers both responsibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the success and delivery of major works.
- Provide accurate record-keeping and manage document control for operational teams.
- Work with engineers and subcontractors to develop and manage Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
- Support design coordinators and design managers in delivering project requirements.
- Maintain and update all equipment registers.
- Ensure full compliance with the Project Quality Plan and internal quality procedures.
- Lead the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process for internal teams and subcontractors.
- Coordinate and manage project-specific handover documentation, including complete Handover Files and O&M manuals.
- Promote awareness and compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies across the project.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
- Good working knowledge of plant operations.
- Essential experience in construction or civil engineering environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of workflow and process management.
- Strong commitment to materials logistics and effective implementation.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work confidently in changing situations.
- Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Valid CSCS card(s).
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
- TWC qualification (preferred)
