The OpportunityLaunch your engineering career with a customised 16‑month training programme. Rotate through exciting placements designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed. You will learn from experts, gain valuable experience, build confidence and receive support from a line manager, placement manager, mentor and buddy throughout your time on the programme.
During the programme you will be supported with a mentor to begin your accreditation journey towards chartership. Our scheme is accredited with a number of professional institutions and we’ll support you to gain chartership with the relevant professional body.

As a Science & Engineering Graduate at Sizewell C you will gain hands‑on experience, develop technical and professional skills and contribute to meaningful projects that support the UK’s journey to net zero. Opportunities may include Project Management, Technical Design, Control and Instrumentation, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Human Factors and Civil Engineering.
Your Work LocationYou will be based at one of our Suffolk offices with placements of 3–6 months. You may also be required to travel to another location for your placements to support other business units and expand your knowledge and experience of the nuclear industry.
Who You AreTo be eligible you need a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree (2:2 or higher) in Civil or Structural Engineering. We are looking for people with a genuine interest in nuclear energy, strong communication and organisational skills, and a passion for solving technical problems. You must be able to meet deadlines in a time‑critical environment and work well as part of a team.
Pay,Benefits And Culture
Starting salary of £37,500 per annum, potential for an annual bonus and a market‑leading pension scheme. Your package will also include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days and more.

Additional InformationWe are the first nuclear power station in the UK to be funded under the Regulated Asset Base funding model (RAB). The project will generate low‑carbon electricity for at least 60 years, supplying over 6 million homes and supporting around 7% of the UK’s current electricity needs. We are building for the next generation with abundant, affordable, ultra‑low‑carbon power. Our vision is to lead the way on nuclear and deliver on it.
