Key Responsibilities
- Produce Subcontract documentation, including terms, prices, and programme negotiations.
- Manage subcontract works packages, interim assessments, and change management.
- Issue commercial notices to Clients and Subcontractors as per the contract.
- Manage timely contract changes, including Compensation Event Quotations.
- Submit and agree monthly applications with the Client.
- Liaise with operational and engineering teams to maintain site record standards.
- Produce detailed monthly reports and Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR).
- Maintain a ‘Cost Plan,’ tracking and forecasting expenditure.
- Interpret and evaluate internal cost system expenditure reports.
- Attend progress and risk reduction meetings with clients and subcontractors.
- Maximise value and profit, applying ‘Doing the right thing’ principles.
- Assist estimating and bid teams with contractual expertise.
- Strong understanding of standard forms of contract.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, CEMAR, and Oracle systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with NEC3/4 Option
C. - Main contract experience.
- Professional qualification (MCIOB or MRICS, or working towards it).
- Experience in Civil Engineering (Highways, Rail, Water, Aviation).
- Exposure to large or multiple smaller schemes.
- CSCS qualification (as appropriate).
