Local candidates only. Various hours. Fixed term 12 months. Band 3 Salary £28,011 - £30,230 per annum (pro rata). Distant Islands Allowance £2,482 per annum (pro rata).

Ward 3 is a busy acute medical ward that strives to give patients an excellent standard of care in a busy but happy environment which is both challenging and rewarding. You will learn many new skills and enable patients to have the best possible standard of care. We have a very experienced team that will be more than happy to support you to settle into this position.

We can be flexible agreeing part‑time working hours for the right candidate.

• Support patients with daily living activities.
• Assist with medication and clinical tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively.
• Help deliver the ward’s standard of care and support teams.

• Educated to SVQ2 level in healthcare or equivalent experience in a caring environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, numeracy.
• Interest in developing healthcare knowledge and attending induction and code of conduct within 3 months.

• Fixed term 6 months (as additional support) with potential substantive hours after term.
• UK only; no relocation or interview expenses.
• PVG Scheme or update required prior to offer.
