Accounting Technician

We are a small, collaborative team in a Boutique-style firm operating in an association of Chartered Professional Accountants. Our culture is unique, in that we don’t have a traditional hierarchical structure, and we work together as a team.

• Client Service and Communication
• File Preparation & Drafting Financial Statements
• Review Engagements
• Corporate Tax Preparation
• Personal Tax Preparation
• Bookkeeping

• 3 – 5 Years’ Experience working in an Accounting Firm
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Strong Accounting Knowledge and Experience
• Experience with Farms and Investments
• Self-motivated, with the Ability to work Independently
• Detail Orientated with Accuracy
• Knowledge of Accounting software including:
  Quickbooks, Sage, Caseware, Profile and Excel

• Stable, Long-Term Employment
• Smaller Firm with a Team based, Collaborative Atmosphere

• Monday – Friday with Flexibility around schedule and 4-day work weeks in the summer
