Senior Estimator

Select People Solutions is searching for a Senior Estimator to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will come with a detail oriented and proven track record for precise and meticulous quote delivery serving as a key liaison between the company and its customers. They will accomplish this through detailed cost analysis for its complex projects. From initial blueprints through to bid submission and handover, the individual will ensure company profitability while aligning with client needs.

Compensation &

Hours:

• The rate of pay will be $85K - $125K/year depending on experience

• Monday through Thursday 7:30 AM – 5 PM, Friday 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Position Summary:

• Ensure precise preparation and delivery of final quotes and takeoffs

• Perform detailed measurements and calculations for all elements of the project

• Continuously monitor and update costs for all facets of the project

• Sourcing, vetting and managing quotes from external trades/contractors and suppliers

• Developing cost monitoring procedures and forecasting

• Provide leadership towards strategic decision making, mediating between operations and management

• Maintain effective client communication to identify their needs and ensure exceptional delivery of service

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years construction estimation experience

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills

• Exceptional interpersonal and communicative abilities

• Well-versed in estimation software
