Healthcare Support Worker AA

Overview

This is an opportunity to join the Health Visiting Service as a Health Care Support Worker in the Levenmouth, Fife locality area. You will work alongside health visitors and community nursery nurses to provide high quality service to clients that support the delivery of the health visiting service in the local area.

As well as supporting the health visitors with clinical delivery, the post holder will also contribute to the administrative functioning of the health visiting team through a range of office based duties which contribute to the smooth running of the team, so experience of working in an administrative role would be helpful.

A full orientation/induction package will be given for the successful candidate.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.

As from 1/4/2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. Please note that the pay scale in this advert will not be changing as a result.
