• Salary – In line with National Living Wage
• Hours – Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week
• Holiday – 20 days annual leave plus UK bank holidays
• Location – Lewes, England
• Contract Type – Fixed Term Contract (12 months, commencing July/August 2026)

Are you an ambitious undergraduate student looking for a placement year opportunity? This placement gives you the opportunity to experience the role of a Tax Accountant first hand from our award‑nominated team of experts. You will gain insights into personal and corporate tax compliance and advisory work within a structured and supportive learning environment.

• Assist in the preparation of personal, partnership, trust and company tax returns and computations for a variety of clients
• Assist on capital gains tax returns
• Review accounts to ensure clients are compliant with current tax legislation
• Assist the tax team with various submissions and payment deadlines throughout the year and support senior members with tax advisory work
• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
• Assist with administrative tasks and marketing initiatives

• A‑Levels/BTEC/T‑Level qualifications
• Studying a relevant course at University – Accountancy & Finance preferred, other courses considered
• Proficient use of Microsoft applications
• Hardworking & diligent
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to build effective working relationships
• Professional and positive work ethic
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Clear written & oral communication
• Good attention to detail
• Genuine interest in a future career in Tax
