Air Quality Consultant (1-2 Years' Experience)

Brighton
Working Pattern:
Hybrid working available (minimum 1 day per week in the Brighton office)
Salary: £28,000-£32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
We are seeking an enthusiastic Air Quality Consultant with 1-2 years' experience to join our growing team in Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career consultant looking to develop their technical skills and progress within a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
You will be involved in a range of air quality assessments, with a particular focus on road traffic-related developments. The role offers hands-on technical work, exposure to diverse projects, and structured support to help you advance your career.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake air quality assessments for development and infrastructure projects
Carry out air dispersion modelling, particularly for road traffic emissions
Support the preparation of technical reports and planning documentation
Interpret monitoring and modelling data and present findings clearly
Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients across multiple projects
Essential Requirements
1-2 years' professional experience in air quality consultancy or a related field
Hands-on air dispersion modelling experience, specifically using road traffic models
Experience assessing developments involving road traffic emissions
IAQM membership (or working towards it)
A relevant degree in environmental science, air quality, or a related discipline
Strong written and verbal communication skills
