A global manufacturer within the public transport technology sector is seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to lead Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental systems at its UK headquarters.

This role is critical in a precision manufacturing environment producing electronic and mechanical assemblies, with responsibility for compliance, continuous improvement, and customer quality performance.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and develop QMS in line with ISO 9001 and support ISO 14001

* Lead quality planning, audits, PPAP, and process validation (automotive customers)

* Oversee QA/QC activities and manage customer and supplier quality issues

* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, including ESD, machine safety, and hazardous materials

* Manage environmental compliance including RoHS and REACH

* Drive continuous improvement using tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D

* Track and report QHSE KPIs

Candidate Profile

* Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Quality, or related discipline

* Minimum 5 years’ QHSE experience in electronics or mechanical manufacturing

* Strong knowledge of ISOISO 14001

* Working knowledge of IATFand automotive core tools

* Experience with audits, PPAP, APQP, and root cause analysis

* Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills

Desirable:

* IPC-AIPC/WHMA-A-620 knowledge

* Second language (French, Spanish, or German)
