IT Release & Change Manager

As IT Release and Change Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the lifecycle of IT changes and releases across the organisation. This role ensures that changes are assessed, approved, and implemented with minimal disruption to business operations, while maintaining compliance with governance and risk standards. You will also work closely with the Application, Project and Infrastructure teams and successfully deliver and implement new and updated technology services and solutions across the UK/EU.

The successful candidate will work to build relationships with internal stakeholders and will constantly seek to make activities easier through mature IT Service Management processes, customer service and technical support.

The skills and experience required include:

• BSc/BA degree preferred or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Experience of working in IT Support and as an experienced Service Manager.
• Account administration and onboarding/offboarding experience and related automation is essential.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience in developing individuals of various skill levels.
• Strong Service Design, Transition and Catalogue Management knowledge.
• Experience with Service Management best practices and process improvement.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels within the organisation
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• Technical mindset but able to articulate and understand business needs.
• Good technical background.
• Experience working with ITSM solutions.
• Good understanding of Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, Power Shell and M365
• Experience in writing both technical and user-friendly documentation to educate the team/s within IT Operations as well as the organisation.
• ITIL certified and experience of line management.
• Experience with in the insurance and brokerage industry.
