Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: East Sussex

Our client, an established business servicing commercial, industrial and domestic clients within the construction industry are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their busy and friendly team.

As a Maintenance Engineer you will primarily be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment. Duties will include:

* Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions

* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

* Supervise and train maintenance staff

* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

* Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner

* Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues

As a Maintenance Engineer you will have:

* Experience with in a manufacturing Industry, minimum of 5 years.

* Ability to logically fault find and diagnose, keeping break down times to a minimum.

* Knowledge of how large machinery operates and able to understand timber construction methods.

* Understanding of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.

* Organised, self-motivated able to work with minimal supervision.

* Good IT and communication skills liaising with staff & manufacturers.

* Full UK Driving Licence and willing to travel throughout SE region.

Core hours are Monday to Friday, 7am-4.30pm. Flexibility may be needed to meet business needs.
