Position

Veterinary Surgeon – Cliffe Equine Hospital, Lewes, East Sussex.

Step into a forward‑thinking equine practice located at the base of the South Downs, just outside Lewes. Our team of 5 vets, 2 qualified nurses, 2 trainee nurses and a groom, led by an American and RCVS Specialist in Equine Sports Medicine, delivers a full spectrum of inpatient, surgical, and diagnostic services.

• Provide comprehensive clinical care to a diverse equine patient base within a 40‑hour, 5‑day work week.
• Participate in the out‑of‑hours rota for inpatient care.
• Collaborate with experienced vets, qualified and trainee equine nurses, and the resident specialist to ensure high standards of care.
• Engage in regular mentor catch‑ups and continue professional development through the IVC Evidensia Graduate Academy.

• Registered veterinary surgeon with RCVS licence.
• Strong interest in equine medicine; postgraduate experience is an advantage.
• Commitment to continuous learning and ability to work collaboratively in a close‑knit team.
