Cost Engineer

Our Client, a globally leading EPC is looking for a Cost Engineer to join their team on a contract basis based in the Farnborough office. Initial 12 month contract (could be 3 years) Outside IR35 Hybrid working Your main responsibilities will be:
Review and validate and cost / planning information from various EPCM contractors to support the roll up of reporting information to the end-client. Each cost or planning engineer will be expected to challenge the EPCM Contractors and make recommendations for actions by the Contractors or interventions by the end-Client. Develop and implement a project controls plan Plan and organize the setup of project baseline Develop cost, schedule, and commercial baseline Providing technical and administrative direction, coordination Coaching to a team of Project Controls specialists Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan Manage the review of Project Profit/Risk Analysis with management Lead the proposal efforts for cost/scheduling activities Lead the project control team Coordinate internal and external audits
