Pharmacy Dispenser – Leyland Extra – Tesco

Join our Tesco team as a Pharmacy Dispenser in Leyland Extra. We are looking for a dedicated, customer‑focused professional to support our modern pharmacy and deliver high‑quality service each day.

Pay – starting at £12.87 an hour, rising to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week (with a 12‑hour minimum for those who wish). We value flexibility and will consider applicants whose availability aligns closely with our advertised windows.

Availability windows – Thursday 09:00‑20:00, Friday 09:00‑21:00, Saturday 09:00‑18:15. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within these times, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts.

• Support the operation of our modern pharmacy.
• Dispense prescription medicines accurately, maintaining all quality and safety standards.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and offer relevant product information.
• Advise customers on pharmacy services and the benefits of product choices.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and legal requirements for dispensing.
• Handle clinical and legal queries within competence and report all prescription administration.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of disposale and consulting areas.
• Participate in promotional activities and company initiatives.
• Complete corporate and departmental training and stay current with professional developments.

• Experience or qualifications from a pharmacy environment.
• Desire to train, develop, and progress in the pharmacy field.
