Night shift, Mon-Thurs, Permanent

A well-established precision engineering company in Tamworth is looking for a skilled Manual Grinder to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Manual Grinder who takes pride in producing high-quality, accurate components for industries such as motor sport, aerospace, and advanced engineering.

The Role:

As a Manual Grinder, you'll be responsible for the precision grinding of components to tight tolerances, working from detailed technical drawings and ensuring the highest possible standards of finish. The ideal Manual Grinder will have experience operating Jones & Shipman machines, though training can be provided for the right candidate.

• Carry out manual grinding on a range of precision components
• Set and operate Jones & Shipman machines where applicable
• Work closely with engineers to ensure all specifications are met
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality
• Maintain a tidy, safe, and efficient work area

• Previous experience as a Manual Grinder within a precision engineering environment
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience with Jones & Shipman machines preferred
