Test Technician

As a Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in conducting quality and safety tests on various assemblies such as seats, instrument panels, and more. This entry-level position requires both mechanical and electrical skills to ensure the highest standards for our clients, including government and automotive manufacturers. • Assist engineers with test setups and teardowns, including a wide range of samples such as seats, radiators, instrument panels, and exhaust systems.

• Monitor and check tests periodically to identify any issues, such as measuring seat height loss or checking for structural damage.

• Maintain a clean and organized lab by properly storing customer parts and keeping tools in the right place.

• Report to work each day, remain dependable and trustworthy, and maintain a professional and positive attitude.

• Download digital photos and navigate Microsoft Windows for computer-related tasks.

• Mechanical or electrical skills

• Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Windows and Office

• Ability to change oil on a vehicle

• Mechanical aptitude

• Welding

• Customer communication and assistance

• Understanding of hydraulic pumps/systems and hydraulic cylinders/actuators

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Soldering

• Painting

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, AL.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
