Special Education Para III
Applicants will work in collaboration with classroom teachers to assist students with special needs. Applicants should be able to assist students individually or in small groups who have academic and/or behavioral needs. Support could take place in both a self-contained classroom as well as in general education classrooms focusing on inclusion and flexible service delivery models. Physical assistance may be needed in wheelchair maneuvering, feeding, positioning, bath-rooming, diapering, and lifting.
Good attendance, collaboration, and communication skills will also be needed for this position. Additional duties involving the supervision of students may be assigned when needed.
Salary is $21.30/hour.
