Are you an organised, confident communicator who enjoys helping people and keeping operations running smoothly? We're looking for a Call Handler to join a busy and supportive team in Lincoln. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
🌟 What You'll Be Doing- 📞
Delivering Exceptional Telephone Support - Providing a professional, friendly and understanding service;
Handling queries, appointment changes, cancellations and general information requests;
Communicating clearly with callers and internal colleagues. - 📅
Coordinating & Managing Appointments - Scheduling routine and priority appointments;
Tracking individuals through their booking journey;
Helping prevent delays by keeping workflows organised and up-to-date. - 🗂
Maintaining Accurate Information - Updating records on internal systems;
Ensuring data is accurate, timely and compliant with internal guidelines;
Following booking rules, processes and timelines. - 🏢
Supporting Daily Office Operations - Providing reception cover when needed;
Sorting mail, photocopying, filing and general admin duties;
Assisting with onsite enquiries and resolving issues when possible. - 👥
Team Support & Training - Assisting with the onboarding and guidance of new team members;
Collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments;
Suggesting and contributing to service improvements.
- Customer service or office‑based experience
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast‑paced environment
- Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Excellent verbal communication
- Strong customer care approach
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise tasks and use initiative
- Flexible, adaptable and calm under pressure
- Friendly, supportive and customer‑focused
- Able to handle fast‑paced telephone work
