What You’ll Be Doing

You will be exposed to a wide range of work across the Company; however, based on your interests and the needs of our Company, you will be allocated one or more of the following focus areas:

  • Preparing accounts and tax returns

Build a strong foundation in compliance and reporting with real client work

  • Supporting payroll and managing income/expenditure

Learn how businesses operate financially on a daily basis.

Develop attention to detail and gain insights into financial accuracy and accountability.

  • Compiling reports, budgets, and financial statements

Help turn numbers into actionable insights for clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Analysing accounts and business plans

Understand what drives financial performance and business strategy.

  • Assisting with tax planning and advisory

Apply legislation to real-life scenarios and contribute to strategic client decisions

  • Financial forecasting and risk analysis

Learn how to interpret data and anticipate future challenges and opportunities.

  • Supporting insolvency and restructuring cases

Gain exposure to how businesses navigate financial distress and recovery.

  • Contributing to client meetings and negotiations

Build confidence and client-facing skills early in your career.

  • Client relationship-building and interviewing

Learn how to understand client needs and deliver value-added support.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for motivated, adaptable graduates keen to grow with us. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Business Management

Modules in financial reporting, business law, or economics are especially relevant.

  • Experience with Xero or Iris software (desirable)

Hands‑on use through coursework, part‑time roles, or internships is a bonus.

  • Experience in an accountancy practice (desirable)

This could include placements, internships, or voluntary roles.

  • Self‑motivation, integrity, and a reflective mindset

You take initiative, act ethically, and strive to improve.

  • Commercial awareness and interest in business and finance

Whether it’s following financial news, engaging in business societies, or personal learning.

  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills

You’re able to prioritise, work to deadlines, and handle challenges methodically.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable collaborating in teams, speaking with clients, or presenting your ideas.

  • Confidence with IT and numbers

Proficiency in Excel or financial tools and strong numeracy from your studies or experience.

  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail

Shown through your academic work, research, or data‑driven projects.
