Live In Carer Newark

We are recruiting experienced Live In Carers to work with Guardian Angel Carers across Lincoln, Newark and surrounding areas.

This is a self employed opportunity offering regular live in placements with clear and ongoing support. We work hard to match carers with the right clients and to provide continuity wherever possible.

As a Live In Carer, you will live in your client’s home and provide high quality, person centred care. This will typically include:

• Companionship and emotional support
• Meal preparation and light household tasks
• Personal care
• Medication support
• Shopping and social activities

Placements are offered on 2, 4 or 6 week live in cycles
, depending on client needs and your availability.

You will be matched with a client and follow an individual care plan. On average, care provision is around 10 hours per day
, with appropriate rest periods. Many of our clients are living with conditions such as dementia, stroke or Parkinson’s, so experience and confidence in these areas is important.

Rates start from £800 per week
, depending on the complexity of the placement.

• Have previous live in or complex care experience
• Are reliable, and compassionate
• Are comfortable working on a self employed basis
• Want regular placements, not just ad hoc work
