The role involves receiving goods, storing and organising stock, picking, wrapping and loading customer orders, ensuring accuracy and quality of the products. This is part of our Despatch/Dispatch team.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with goods in, scanning and storing products and raw materials.
- Wrapping, scanning and palletising products.
- Issuing products to production teams to match production plans.
- Manual handling which may include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg.
- Loading and unloading vehicles using manual handling equipment.
- Carrying out all duties in line with training, food safety and health and safety guidance.
- Team work and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a flexible attitude to work tasks.
- Experience with manual handling equipment (pallet trucks).
- FLT experience / licence desirable, training will be provided.
- Good understanding of English and basic numeracy skills.
- £12.35 per hour, and an additional £2.00 per hour for unsocial hours (6pm-6am and weekends).
- Secure contract, guaranteed hours and opportunities for overtime.
- Earn a minimum of £599 per week.
