• Prepare and cook nutritious meals for service users, taking into consideration any dietary requirements or preferences
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards and regulations
• Tasks such as washing dishes, cleaning surface areas, and disposing of waste
• Collaborate with the team to create menu plans that cater to the diverse tastes and nutritional needs of the residents
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and minimise food waste

• Experience as a Cook in a similar setting, preferably within a care home or healthcare environment
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with relevant certifications
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A positive attitude and a genuine passion for cooking nutritious and delicious meals
• Evenings and weekends as required, on a rota basis
