HGV Class 2 Driver – Castle Donington People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Castle Donington, East Midlands . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression. Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Start times from 6:00am Rates of Pay
• Basic: £14.95 per hour
• After 6pm: £18.69 per hour
• Overtime: £25.05 per hour Benefits

• Carrying deliveries to distribution centres (curtain-side, no handball required)
• Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured correctly
• Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues
• Assisting with loading/unloading when required Essential Skills
• Valid UK Category C licence
• Minimum 12 months' Class 2 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor infringements only)
• Valid UK CPC card and Digi card
• Good spoken and written English
• Punctual with excellent time-keeping
• Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Strong communication skills

Desirable Experience
• Previous commercial Class 2 driving experience
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided
• Driver's assessment required before starting
