Warehouse - Returns Operative

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Operative to work within a warehouse and join our team in the returns department, based out of the North Hykeham. This is a hands‑on role that requires physical strength due to heavy lifting, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely handling of returned items. Manually lifting onto exception tables (goods can be large and weigh up to 50 kg)
• Use hand scanners and computer system to accurately process returns
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment
• Use attention to detail to inspect and assess items for damages and/or faults and log correctly
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily targets

Duration: long term ongoing temp – perm role.

Hourly Rate:
Starting wage £12.61 p/h (£504 per week) Weekly Pay 28 days annual leave pro‑rata

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday, 9 hour shifts 07:00 – 16:00, 1 hour break

Closing Date:

• Prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not required
• Comfortable performing tasks involving heavy lifting and manual handling
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Able to operate hand‑held scanners (training will be provided if necessary)
• Dependable, punctual, and works well within a team environment
