You will work closely with clinical teams to maintain a safe environment, offering a calm and reassuring presence while observing and reporting any concerns in real time. Responsibilities for Hospital Security Guard

Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity

Verify identities and control access to secure areas

React quickly to threats or incidents

Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras

Document incidents and actions taken

Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks

Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents

Provide constant observation of assigned patients to ensure safety and prevent incidents.

Maintain a calm, professional, and alert presence at all times.

Follow hospital policies and security protocols.

De-escalate situations as needed and report incidents to clinical or security staff promptly.

Accurately document observations and maintain shift logs as required.

Work collaboratively with hospital personnel, including nursing and clinical teams.

Qualifications for Security Guard in Lindsay

Be authorized to work in Canada

Hold a valid security license

First aid certification required

Ability to stand and walk entire shift
