System Test Engineer – Linlithgow, Scotland

We’re supporting an innovative technology business developing advanced test and measurement products for global telecoms networks. They’re now looking for a System Test Engineer – Linlithgow, Scotland to join their R&D team.

You’ll work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team, developing and executing system‑level tests to qualify hardware and software products for release. This is a hands‑on role offering exposure across a range of technologies and products.

• Creating test plans from hardware and software requirements
• Developing and running manual and automated tests
• Executing full system test cycles ahead of release
• Logging defects and working closely with engineers to resolve issues
• Contributing to test tools, environments and best practice

• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science (or equivalent)
• Experience testing complex hardware and software systems
• Python scripting and automated test experience
• Knowledge of test frameworks and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)
• Detail‑focused, curious and comfortable working in a collaborative team
