Description

We are hiring for our client who is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their expanding team in Lisburn. This Document Controller position offers the opportunity to support major construction projects while working closely with multi‑disciplinary teams across design and delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring project information is accurate, compliant, and effectively shared across the business.

  • The Role
    • Maintain and manage all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
    • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and revision control across all documents.
    • Act as VfP / CDE administrator: set up folders, workflows and permissions.
    • Upload, publish, and distribute documents in line with project protocols.
    • Train internal teams and subcontractors on VfP usage.
    • Liaise with project teams to track deliverables, submissions and approvals.
    • Ensure compliance with Document Management Plans and audit requirements.
    • Generate document status reports, submittal logs and performance updates.
    • Prepare transmittals, registers, distribution matrices and handover documentation.
    The Person
    • Proven experience as a Document Controller within construction.
    • Strong knowledge of Viewpoint for Projects or similar platforms.
    • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ISO 9001 knowledge.
