Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Salary: £40,000 £ 45,000 per annum Monday Friday, with 1 in every 3 weekends on rotation About the Role Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge? Were seeking a skilled professional to join our clients maintenance team and play a key role in keeping their production operation running smoothly. In this hands-on role, youll provide day-to-day electrical maintenance support across machinery, services, and facilities , ensuring that production downtime is kept to a minimum.

Youll also work on exciting projects from installation through to commissioning, while supporting continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.

What Were Looking For Recognised apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience. Background in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong skills in electrical/electronic fault-finding and diagnostics. Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Experience with LV and/or HV systems would be an advantage.

What Youll Do Respond quickly to breakdowns and faults to minimise downtime. Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, logging all work in our maintenance systems. Lead and support project work from planning through to commissioning. Provide technical support to colleagues, contractors, and other departments. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and quality regulations. Perform PAT testing, energy monitoring, and workplace risk assessments.

Contribute to waste reduction, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
