Senior Management Accountant

We are representing a well established business that is seeking a Management Accountant / Finance Manager to oversee day to day finance operations and support senior leadership. Whats on Offer Competitive salary in the range of £40,000 to £60,000 On site parking Close working relationship with the Managing Director Opportunity to influence systems, processes and efficiencies Supportive team environment About You ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience Experience managing day to day finance operations Strong management accounting background, including budgets and forecasts Comfortable overseeing transactional finance and junior team members Hands on approach with an interest in systems and process improvement Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is desirable Your Responsibilities Always Manage day to day finances across the business Prepare management accounts, budgets and forecasts Oversee supplier payments, P&L and core financial reporting Manage and support transactional finance processes and junior team members Drive system and process improvements to create efficiencies Work closely with the Managing Director to support commercial decision making Often Review and improve financial controls and reporting processes Provide analysis and insight to support business performance Support wider operational teams with finance related queries Occasionally Assist with ad hoc projects and business initiatives Support year end processes and external advisers as required Never Miss the opportunity to improve how things are done Have a fight with the office cactus.
