Head of Strategic Financial Management & Business Partnering

Working in conjunction with our contracted client, NI Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS), we are recruiting for a Head of Strategic Financial Management & Business Partner.

• Lisburn
• £30.87 per hour
• Full-time, 36.25 hours per week
• 6 month contract with the strong possibility of extension

This is an integral post within the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) Finance Team. The post holder will provide leadership to, and be responsible for the management of a number of functions including; strategic financial management, business partnering, economic advisory services and procurement. This is a key post, which is crucial to supporting the organisation’s adherence to financial regulations and relevant statutory requirements within finite budgetary constraints.

This will include departmental reporting and provision of strategic financial, economic and procurement advice.

Be a fully qualified accountant and be a member of one of the following :

• The Chartered Association of Certified Accountants
• The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy
• The Chartered Institute of management Accountants
• The Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland
• The Institute of Chartered Account

AND

Minimum of three years’ relevant post qualification experience in a middle-management role in a complex and challenging, large organisation.
