HGV; HIAB Crane Driver

We’re excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable HGV Lorry Mounted Crane Driver (HIAB) to join our transport team at the Lisburn depot. Use your expertise daily to help ensure the safe delivery of our cabins and containers across Northern Ireland.

To safely and efficiently deliver, offload, and collect cabins, containers, and modular units using a lorry-mounted (HIAB) crane. This role is vital in ensuring timely and professional service to clients, while upholding the highest standards of safety, vehicle maintenance, and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate an HGV vehicle fitted with a lorry-mounted crane (HIAB) to deliver and collect site cabins, containers, and related units
• Load, transport, and offload equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring adherence to all safety standards
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure vehicles are kept in good condition
• Maintain accurate delivery and collection records
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers on‑site
• Comply with all driving regulations, company procedures, and health & safety policies

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) license (Class 1 desirable but not essential)
• HIAB (Lorry Mounted Crane) certification with hook
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar role preferred
• Good understanding of load security and weight distribution
• A safety‑first attitude and excellent timekeeping
• Strong communication and customer service skills
