- Daily Clinic Prep:
Rotate shared morning responsibilities (setting up med bucket, temperature checks, crash cart checks, unlocking/opening meds). - Week-to-Week Rotation:
- Week A (Pre/Post-Op):
Check patients in and out (same bay pre- and post‑op). Conduct 2‑day pre-procedure prep calls (reviewing allergies, calling in contrast medications) and 2‑day post‑procedure follow‑up calls. - Week B (Procedure Room):
Intra‑procedural nursing care working alongside 2 Radiologic Technologists (RTs) and Dr. Shaker. Oversee daily procedure medications and assist with room turnover between cases. - Team Duties:
Collaborative turnover assistance (cleaning/making beds, emptying trash, prepping rooms).
- Active RN License (BSN required).
- BLS certification (Medix will ensure BLS/CPR compliance per Joint Commission standards).
- Operating Room (OR), Interventional Radiology (IR), or Critical Care / ICU experience (patients have high medical acuity).
