My client is a regional building contractor, which are in the market for a housing Senior Quantity Surveyor. They work within commercial & residential and social housing sectors of construction market.

Delivering a range of design and build projects in affordable housing, residential and commercial.  Typical values are between £5million up to around £18million.  The ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor candidate will have previous design and build experience, working on new build social housing projects. Their projects are both timber frame social housing and low-rise apartments projects.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be commercially astute and be involved in pricing works on selected projects. You will be given ownership and accountability for delivering sub contact packages to projects. Ensuring the best possible value and profit in maintained during and closing of project delivery. As an experienced commercial candidate, you will have the ability to work unaided, managing your own workload and projects.

You will ideally have site experience working for a regional building contractor, covering affordable housing projects. The successful candidate will be proactive and work to their own initiative. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to work managing their own projects and workloads. Along side mentoring and developing your own commercial team.

To be considered you need hold the following:

• Full experienced in delivering JCT or NEC forms of contract

• Be qualified to MSc or BA Hons in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
