Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location:
Liverpool & North West (Site / Office / Remote) | Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 DOE | Projects:
Up to £10m
Our client is a leading specialist contractor delivering façade and building envelope packages on major construction projects across the UK. Due to ongoing growth in the North West, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for projects across Liverpool and the wider North West region.
This role offers a mix of site presence and flexible working, with autonomy to manage projects from pre-contract through to final account.
Key Responsibilities- Commercial management of multiple façade projects up to £10m in value across the North West
- Preparation, submission, and agreement of interim applications for payment
- Management of variations, change control, and contractual correspondence
- Cost reporting, forecasting, and monthly CVRs
- Procurement and commercial management of subcontractors and suppliers
- Preparation, negotiation, and agreement of final accounts
- Ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual, commercial, and financial targets
- Working closely with project managers, site teams, and clients
- Providing commercial support and guidance to junior team members where required
- Proven experience operating at Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor level
- Previous experience within façades, cladding, envelope, or specialist subcontracting is highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of JCT forms of contract
- Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, organised approach
- Competitive salary of £60k-£75k depending on experience
