Design​/Draughtperson

We are looking for a full-time Design/Draught-person to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, drafting, and producing detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD & Solid Works. The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. • Design, draft, and produce detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD & Solid Works.
• Create and modify 3D models and assemblies using Solid Works.
• Develop layouts, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and other engineering documents.
• Perform calculations to determine design requirements.
• Analyse and assess existing designs for improvement.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Conduct research on design and fabrication methods.
• Create and maintain accurate records of designs and processes.

• HNC level, experience in sheet metal design & fabrication
• Proficient in AutoCAD & Solid Works
• A good understanding of fabrication techniques would be advantageous.
• An understanding of EMC and Rf would also be advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Salary range £32,000 - £38,000 DoE
• 22 days holiday per annum plus 8 days statuary holidays
• Company contribution pension
