Electrical Design Engineer

Role – Electrical Design Engineer
Location – Liverpool
Type – Permanent (Hybrid working available)
Salary – Circa £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience

A UK based manufacturing company are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Degree, HND or an equivalent Electrical engineering or Automation qualification
Minimum 3 years’ experience working with CAD for electrical design
Any PLC knowledge would be desirable too - ideally Siemens (S7, TIA Portal) but others will be considered such as Allen Bradley
Panel design experience ideally working with EPlan 8 or AutoCAD
Strong communication skills
Ability to work alone or as part of a team

The Electrical Design Engineer role will involve:

Designing & developing control systems for manufacturing equipment
Developing electrical designs using Eplan software
Ensure work complies with industry standards such as ATEX
Liaising with customers & other departments to ensure requirements are being met
